Dr. Ritterman on the embroidery Each figure represents a moment in his life, starting at his birth in a cabin with a cave as one of the walls. Each of the ten figures, starting at twelve o’clock, is in the shape of a letter in the name Milton. And the signature of the mountain and sun is composed of the four letters: LOVE. Milton used this puzzle to demonstrate that the way one conceives one's problem precludes the solution. Hence the importance of one’s mindset opening.
The puzzle embroidery made by Dr. Ritterman is part of the permanent collection at the Milton H. Erickson Museum in Phoenix, Arizona.
